Animal Control
Southland District Council's Animal Control team aims to promote better care and control of dogs. The team also manages other animal control issues, such as wandering stock, and works hard to educate the public about various animal matters.
Council staff can provide cat traps for hire, but do not look after pest control, which is the responsibility of Environment Southland.
