The following are guides for registered premises and trading in public places licences.

Registered Premises

The following types of activities, with some exceptions, need to be registered by Council under the Health (Registration of Premises) Regulations 1966:

  • Retail food premises

  • Hair salons

  • Camping grounds

  • Sale yards

  • Offensive trades

  • Funeral parlors

Trading in public places

With some exceptions, requires a licence from Council under the Trading in Public Places Bylaw 2008.
