Manapouri
Manapouri is found on Surprise Bay at the south-eastern corner of Lake Manapouri, the deepest lake in New Zealand. The township is 159km north-west of Invercargill and 19km south-west of Te Anau. Manapouri is the starting point for trips across the lake to the Manapouri Power Station and Doubtful Sound.
