Milford Community Trust

The Milford Community Trust was established in 2007 by the Southland District Council and the Department of Conservation, with the assistance of Environment Southland.

It was created to provide leadership and governance for the Milford community in Milford Sound Piopiotahi.

The Trust is governed by a board of seven trustees, from both the community and stakeholder groups. The trustees (and who they represent) are:

Paul Phelan (Community appointee)
John Robson (Community appointee)
Mike Schuck (Community appointee)
Andrew Welsh (Community appointee)
Allan Cosgrove (Milford Community Association)
Diane Ridley (Southland District Council)

The Trust meeting dates for 2010 are: 13 May, 27 August and 26 November. (Real Journeys Events Centre, Te Anau).

 

* At present, the Milford Community Trust's Draft Statement of Intent is out for comment. The draft was adopted by the Trust and released for comment at its meeting held on Friday 26 February 2010.
