Ten Year Plan (LTCCP) 2009-19

Council adopted the Ten Year Plan 2009 - 2019 on Tuesday 30 June 2009.  The key changes made to the plan as a result of submissions included delaying a proposal to move to combined funding of water and sewerage schemes across the District; reducing roading expenditure for sealed and unsealed roads annually by $200,000; collecting the Public Health Service Rate using a Uniform Annual Charge and additional funding for Stadium Southland, Rugby World Cup, Southland Warm Homes Trust and Biodiversity Southland. 

As a result of the changes made, the District Rate increase will be 6.89% for 2009/2010 (down from 6.93% signalled in the Draft Ten Year Plan).  The Ten Year Plan has details of the submissions as well as the final financial information and different rates for 2009/2010.  An electronic copy of the Ten Year Plan (in full or by section) is available to download below.
