Council offices temporary closures.

COVID-19 update

There will be a staged approach to opening our offices:

  • Invercargill - open to the public under level 2 restrictions from 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday
  • Te Anau library - open to the public under level 2 restrictions from 10am-4pm, Monday-Friday
  • Winton library/office - open to the public under level 2 restrictions from 10am-4pm, Monday-Friday
  • Riverton library/office - open to the public under level 2 restrictions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 4pm
  • Otautau library/office -  open to the public under level 2 restrictions on Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 4pm
  • Stewart Island library/office - open to the public under level 2 restrictions from 8.30am to 12 midday, Monday to Friday and from 2pm to 4pm on Wednesdays
  • Lumsden library/office - open to the public under level 2 restrictions from 10am to 4pm, Fridays
  • At this stage our Wyndham office remains closed but we are working hard to return this services to the community.

You will notice some changes so we meet the level 2 guidelines for contact tracing, hand sanitiser and physical distancing.

We will be able to accept all payments, including cash, in the Invercargill office. Te Anau library and Winton office will accept cashless payments only.
