Registered owners will be sent renewal forms.

One tag for life

Southland District Council has an annual registration with ‘one tag for life’.

It’s simple: you renew your registration each year but the tag with a unique number remains the same for the life of your dog.

It’s an environmentally-friendly approach which reduces plastic waste and makes the registration process easier.
