The Easter Sunday Shop Trading Policy is a new Policy that allows all shops in the Southland District to trade on Easter Sunday. Legislation states that employees can elect not to work on Easter Sunday, and they cannot be treated adversely for not working. Employers and employees should refer to their rights and obligations under the Shop Trading Hours Act 1990.
