Draft Speed Limits Bylaw 

You can still have your say on the draft Speed Limits Bylaw. Southland District Council is extending the submission period keen to hear people’s views on a draft Speed Limits Bylaw. This bylaw manages speed limits on Southland District’s roading network. Speed limits on state highways are administered by NZTA.

A statement of proposal and the draft bylaw can be viewed online below or inspected at and obtained free of charge from your local Council office.

Submissions will re-open from 8am 19 November and close at 5pm on 3 December 2019.
