Council's executive leadership team is led by the Chief Executive and consists of six group managers, and the executive assistant. Each group manager is responsible for particular departments within Council.

Responsible for roading, water and waste, project delivery, council property, community facilities, commercial infrastructure, forestry, Stewart Island/Rakiura power, TeAnau airport Manapouri and community leadership team.

Fran Mikulicic
Responsible for building control, environmental health, alcohol licensing, resource management, animal control, heritage and civil defence.
People & Capability Manager
Janet Ellis
Responsible for human resources and health and safety.

Responsible for rates and Council finances.

Responsible for customer support, libraries, IT, knowledge management, GIS mapping, governance, policy and strategy and communications and engagement.
