Project information memorandum
A PIM (Project Information Memorandum) is the opportunity to get critical information about a site and construction requirements before applying for a building consent.
A PIM provides information about land and about requirements of other Acts that might be relevant to proposed building work.
A territorial authority issues a PIM following an application by the owner. Application for a PIM can be made at any time but it is best done at the concept stage of the project to obtain vital design and construction information.
