Project update September 2018

We are closely approaching the completion of this project in Winton. Next week Fulton Hogan will be undertaking final reinstatement of the new trench line and beginning to site the site up for disestablishment.

There is a key milestone to achieve in this project that will pretty well complete the job, this is to connect our new pipeline on Meldrum St into Great North Road.

In order for this phase of works to safely occur, the town supply will be isolated whilst this link-in occurs.

This means properties between 254 Great North Road (White Tops dairy) and 304 Great North Road (George Street intersection) and also Railway St will have no water for a period of time.

These properties are all commercial entities.

This work will be undertaken after hours so there is no affect to these businesses. Works will occur on 10 September 2018 between 2130-0130.
