We offer a wide range of magazines from New Zealand and overseas, covering all topics from politics to craft to farming. You will find local newspapers and community newsletters at each library. Access to eMagazines and eNewspapers is provided through PressReader and Bolinda Borrow Box.

We provide a broad range of fiction and non-fiction in both print and electronic formats. No matter what you’re looking for, we’ll be able to connect you with exactly what you need. We hold a dynamic collection of large print books and subscribe to the Books on Prescription scheme, which provides resources for supporting your own mental health and wellbeing.

Vincent G. Boyle Heritage Collection

Unveiled in March 2017, the Vincent G. Boyle Heritage Collection is housed at the Winton Public Library. Kindly donated to the library by Mrs Boyle, the collection includes works written by Vince — a noted researcher and writer of local history — as well as a selection of works from Vince’s private library.

Genealogy collection

Our genealogy collection is housed at the Winton Public Library and is available for in-library use. The collection is utilised and supported by local genealogy researchers, who are available to assist you with your family history questions on Tuesday afternoons.
