Registration checklist
- All dogs must be registered by the age of 3 months
- registration needs to be renewed by 1 July each year
- any dog not wearing a current registration label or disc will be treated as unregistered (replacement tags may be obtained from Council)
- anyone found in possession of an unregistered dog is liable to receive a $300 infringement fee
- when a dog changes ownership both the new and old owners must give written notice within 14 days and include the dog's new address
- if a dog owner moves they must provide written notice of the new address to us within 14 days.
